Time travel on two wheels

One hundred and thirty four years ago at this time, on an early spring day, the most essential part of bicycles, the wheel, was reborn. A creative English gentleman, John Boyd Dunlop, wanted to protect the garden from his child riding a metal-wheel bike. The idea came from the garden sprinkler, which was attached to the wheel filled with water first and then with air.

These wheels worked great and proven in contemporary racing, bringing success to the Dunlop family and the era of tubes for us.

Bicycle tube as base material

At the Artucci Workshop, we use a high-quality, cleaned bicycle tubes to make our creative jewelry. This soft black material allows for a workmanship similar to leather. Pleasant to touch and those black-silver tones dominate the jewelry made of it, making these parts a nice choice for men as well.
