White Deco
Exclusive upcycled antique milk glass ArtucciTM jewelry collection

Our White Deco collection is made with antique milk glass beads on stainless steel fittings. The white color itself has a special meaning, it’s at the very top of the colour hierarchy, it’s the symbol of perfection. It means both life and rebirth, light and purity.

Milk glass is opaque (sometimes translucent) white glass produced by the addition of tin oxide. Its origins date back to the Renaissance, with Murano and Venetian glassmakers from the 15th century onwards. Originally developed to imitate the then fashionable and prized Chinese porcelain, it was most popular in the 18th century. The beads we use date mostly from the 1920s or 40s, the production of milk glass beads with tin oxide technology was completed in the 1970s.

ArtucciTM White Deco products can be purchased in our store, where individual size adjustments and design variations can also be made.
